Here are some common questions from people interested in our program. Feel free to contact us should you have a question not answered below.


 

How much does it cost to get a real estate license?
The cost varies depending on how many requirements you've already completed. By attending our program, you would pay between $1,050 to $1,460 to get your license.


How long will it take for me to get a real estate license?
On average you can complete our pre-licensing program in three months, and it usually takes another six weeks to file your application, take the license exam, and receive your license to practice real estate.


Will I need to purchase a textbook, a special calculator, or additional materials for any classes through Texas REALTORS® University?
No, your registration fee will include all necessary materials for the class, including your textbook.

 


That’s a lot of class time. Will we get to take breaks?
Yes, you will receive 10 minutes of break time every hour, or 20 minutes every two hours throughout the day. The instructor determines break times based upon the content covered that class session. There will be reasonable breaks for lunch on weekend classes.


Can I bring my dinner to class?
We recognize class times might fall during your normal eating schedule. Yes, you can bring snacks or dinner to class.


If I choose the package registration, when will I receive the exam preparation?
You will receive access to the exam preparation once you attend the first day of class.


What if I only want the exam preparation? How do I access it without selecting the package registration?
