The real estate school you choose can make or break your real estate career. Some real estate schools care only about helping you pass the licensing exam. Getting licensed does you little good if you can't make it in the competitive world of real estate.

Many real estate schools provide just 15 hours in the classroom for each 30-hour class. That may sound appealing ... and it certainly cuts costs for that school ... but it also cuts your opportunity to learn the business directly from experts.

Our pre-licensure classes exist because brokers around the state demanded it. They found that most newly licensed agents weren't ready to start working ... they didn't know enough about the basics. These brokers asked the Texas Association of REALTORS® to add pre-licensure classes to the Texas REALTORS® University curriculum.
